| An Event in which a Creation is performed. The Performance may be of a Work or another Manifestation or both (Example: playing a SoundRecording results in a Performance of both the SoundRecording and the Composition which it contains). A performed Work may exist before the Performance (Example: a Performance of Beethoven's 5th Symphony), or it may be created by the Performance (Example: an improvisation). |

Broadcasting
| An Event in which the audio and/or visual Content of a Resource is reproduced across a wide area as an analogue signal for listening and/or viewing. Broadcast is contrasted to Playback: but note that the distinction between them is one of degree, not type or technology. |
