A Work whose expression is a combination of sounds, with or without accompanying words. Typically a MusicalWork is performed with instruments and/or the human voice.

Parents	Work	An abstract Creation which is recognized through one or more Manifestations. Example: a MusicalWork recognized through its Performances, or a LexicalWork recognized through its Texts. Note that in PCS the term "Work" does not necessarily carry any legal connotations.
Children	LyricAdaptation	An Adaptation in which Lyrics (textual elements) of a MusicalWork are modified.
	MusicArrangement	An Adaptation in which musical elements of a MusicalWork are modified.
