Composite
A group of two or more entities combined for any purpose. Examples: an XML Message, a group of elements within a Message such as "TitlesComposite". A Composite does not represent anything in its own right but is only a collection or "bag" of entities which normally have some kind of relationship. Composites may contain other Composites to any level of granularity.

Parents Element A data Element. This is the top level term in the PCS Data Dictionary, to which all other terms (Elements) are hierarchically linked. An Element can be of any size or granularity, from a single data value to a Message or suite of Messages.
