Training
IFPI's Enforcement department has a dedicated Training unit attached that works closely with national groups, regional
anti-piracy coordinators and law enforcement agencies. The unit designs and delivers training programmes on enforcement related issues for a range of
audiences. The training programmes include PowerPoint presentations covering subjects, including:
- Recognition and identification of pirated and counterfeit music products
- CDR Piracy
- Music Piracy and links to organised crime
IFPI has published a comprehensive Manual of Guidance, now in its second edition, and a training video entitled, 'Tracking the Music Pirates' which
is available in eight languages in either VHS or Mpeg format.
Requests for training or training products should be made in the first instance to training@ifpi.org
or by contacting IFPI Secretariat's Enforcement department.
