Job Title: Intelligent Systems – Junior Developer (London)IFPI represents the recording industry worldwide, with a membership comprising some 1400 record companies in 73 countries and affiliated industry associations in 48 countries. IFPI's mission is to promote the value of recorded music, safeguard the rights of record producers and expand the commercial uses of recorded music in all markets where its members operate. The job involves dealing with writing intelligent scripts, sometimes working in a grid, using bespoke software to perform complicated tasks and internet information gathering. There is ample scope to develop a strong technical skill base and good industry exposure for anyone participating in the programme. The role, required for one year, would be ideally-suited to a gap-year student doing their industrial placement. Excellent facilities and an exciting pay package are on offer. The ideal applicant will have the following skills: Computing (or Electronics) related degree Academic or work-based experience working with:
