Cooperation Agreement Signed With Philippines Replicator

IFPI has signed an anti-piracy cooperation agreement with FAS Development Corporation, a Philippines based optical disc manufacturing plant.

Under the agreement, FAS has agreed to make a contribution to IFPI's anti-piracy fund.

In addition, FAS has reiterated its commitment to manufacture or distribute sound recordings only with the authority of the relevant rights owner having been granted. FAS has agreed to apply for and exert its best efforts to obtain certification under the IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program. FAS has been applying and will continue to apply SID Codes to all stampers and discs that it produces. FAS will cooperate fully with any future IFPI anti-piracy investigation. FAS has agreed to contribute sample discs to IFPI's forensic program.
