IFPI Honoured at Global Anti-counterfeiting Awards
London, March 19 - IFPI's anti-piracy work was honoured on March 14 at the Global Anti-counterfeiting Awards.
The Award, presented at the 3rd World Anti-counterfeiting Conference in Prague, recognised IFPI's "outstanding accomplishments" in the fight against piracy, citing in particular its work in CD identification codes and forensics.
IFPI head of Enforcement Iain Grant said: "This Award is a tribute to IFPI's investigators, National Groups and Regional Office personnel who are fighting to control the single greatest threat facing the music industry today".
